We were scheduled to head to Indy less than two weeks after the September 11 attacks. With a major shift in how airports were operating, many opted out of the trip.
The airports were empty heading to Indy, but the stadium wasn’t. To no one’s surprise, the Indy fans were great and we all shared the American spirit especially during the singing of the national anthem. The Bills took an early lead but only showed up in the first quarter as Payton Manning dissected the Bills defense. It wasn’t even close!
